• Between 8:30 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. today, the main broadcast channel for WFNA-TV had an episode of a comedic TV program titled "Gimme a Break!" instead of an episode of the comedic program it usually had during this time period from Monday through Friday before this calendar week (the name of that program was "The Cosby Show"). 

• WKRG-TV, WPMI-TV, and WEAR-TV each had special network news programming about a live speech by the United States (Barack Obama) take precedence over their local news program they had on their main broadcast channel between 6:00 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. today (WALA-TV had video of the president speaking live as part of their own local news program for that time period).
