News for Wednesday, July 15th, 2015 (amended)

• New musical compositions and graphics for WEAR-TV's broadcast news operation were implemented this past Tuesday, July 14th (the ones they usually had in their local TV news programming before then were displaced by the new ones).

• One of the new graphics implemented into the broadcast news operation for WEAR-TV this past Tuesday was a logo that usually did not appear in any of their TV programming by then, even though it was all ready on their official World Wide Web site by then, along with their official Facebook page and Twitter page (the logo that was part of the previous set of graphics for their local TV news programs still appeared in their broadcasts on a regular basis by then). 

• According to the official Twitter page for Mediacom Communications, some negotiators for Mediacom Communications and the holding company for WFNA-TV (Media General) were unable to make a new retransmission consent deal for WFNA-TV's programming by the time their previous retransmission consent deal for their programming expired this past Tuesday (it would have allowed Mediacom Communications to continue having programming from WFNA-TV retransmitted through some of their cable TV systems after the previous deal expired).
