Commentary on an interesting microphone, an extravagant description and some presumptuous phrases
- The microphone or microphones with a past logo for WKRG-TV in some videos dated for the calendar year 1995
on a YouTube channel attributed to them appeared to be larger than the
ones I usually saw on the local news programs that were part of their
programming after the calendar year 1997 (I did not see the local news
programming they had prior to the calendar year 1998 very often due to my
watching local news programs for WALA-TV more often by then (WALA-TV was my favorite local station for local news by then)).
- I wish the news presenters for the local news operation at WALA-TV
would not use any of their news programs to say phrases like, "We first
told you about it last night on 'FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m', and, "We
first told you about it yesterday on FOX10TV.com" while presenting
updates to reports that they or other members of the operation had
presented on previous editions of one of those programs as if every
member of their audience was actually watching and/or listening to them
present those reports.
- One of the news presenters on the local news program that appeared
on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 p.m.
on the Tuesday of the eleventh day of April for this calendar year (Bob Grip
on "FOX 10
News at 9:00 p.m.") said a news "story" that he posted a message about
on a World Wide Web site named Twitter earlier that day "blew up"
afterwards. he posted a message about it on a World Wide Web site named Twitter earlier that day.
