- The main broadcast channel for WJTC-TV had a special program named "The Rise of Terrorism: The Trouble Road" in place of a syndicated news program
that was usually part of its regular programming plan for the second
half of the hour of 6:00 p.m. for Monday through Friday in recent times (under the name "Inside Edition")
this past Monday on the fifteenth day of this May.
- The local news programs that appeared on the main broadcast channels for
WALA-TV and WPMI-TV this past Monday ("FOX 10 News at 10:00 p.m." and
"Local 15 News at 10 p.m.") each had video of what appeared to be a
live news conference about a member of the House of Representatives of
the United States from
Alabama (named Mo Brooks) campaigning for a position in the Senate of the United States (the one on the channel for WALA-TV was the only one
to have audio of (some of) it whereas the one for WPMI-TV only had audio of one of its news presenters talking about it over some of its video of it)
(*the news presenter for the local news program that appeared on the channel during the first half of the hour of 12:00 p.m. this Tuesday (
Bill Riales on "WKRG News 5 at Noon") presented a "preview" of the report narrated by this member of their news operation (he said it was a "story" she was "working on").
