- The main broadcast channel for WALA-TV had two syndicated programs ("Wild About Animals" and "On the Spot") that were not usually part of its regular programming plan for the hour of 10:00 a.m. for Monday through Friday in recent times in place of the one that was usually part of that plan ("The Real") this Friday.*
- Folks who may had visited Facebook pages such as those attributed to local TV and radio stations in southwest Alabama on a daily basis prior to the Wednesday of the tenth day of this May may had noticed the pages usually had messages attributed to visitors like them in sections separate from their main (or "home") sections on a daily basis since then.**
- The local news programs that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 5:00 p.m. ("WKRG News 5 at 5"), the first and second halves of the hour of 6:00 p.m. ("WKRG News 5 at 6" and "WKRG News 5 at 6:30"), and the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. ("WKRG News 5 at 10") this past Thursday on the eleventh day of this May usually did not have monitors with live videos displaying different structures located in the down-town area of the city of Mobile in southwest Alabama (such as the ones named the RSA-Trustmark Bank Building, the Renaissance Mobile Riverview Plaza Hotel, and the RSA Battle House Tower) behind their news presenters by then (they usually had a still image of the same structures from a different perspective while a slogan and a World Wide Web address for the local news operation at WKRG-TV ("COVERAGE YOU CAN COUNT ON" and "WKRG.COM" respectively) moved above some of the structures in a vertical fashion).***
(**you may access those sections by selecting the words "Posts" on the sidebars of those pages)
(***the monitors in the installments of the programs for this Friday had the static images that usually usually appeared in the installments they had prior to this past Thursday)
