News for Monday, May 21st, 2018 (amended)

  • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 p.m. on the Friday of the eighteenth day of this May ("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.") appeared to have had one of its news presenters (Lenise Ligon) saying, "All right, it can be hard work; Mainous also says that pests that need be treated regularly if you want to keep your lawn healthy, or you can call Byron because he says he's pretty good at that stuff" and the other one (Byron Day) saying, "Oh no, no, no. I used to be pretty good at that stuff...(whispering) a long time ago" immediately after having a certain video involving a certain report involving the word "Mainous". 
  • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 7:00 a.m. on the Sunday of the twentieth day of this May ("FOX 10 News at 7:00 a.m.") appeared to have had a certain guest for one of its segments saying, "I believe the ticket prices are eight dollars for adults and, uh, four dollars for children -- under, uh -- down to age four. It's free for children younger than that" before having some graphics involving texts of "ADMISSION", "13+ $8", "5-12 $4", "4 AND UNDER FREE" between two and five seconds later with other without any explanation of the graphics or the aforementioned statements attributed to the guest immediately.  
  • The main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV appeared to had been without a certain animated sequence (involving a past logo for WKRG-TV) that was usually part of its programming within five seconds of it having had the beginnings of certain programs for a certain brand of programming ("The CBS Dream Team") from their main provider of network programming (the Columbia Broadcasting System (CBS)) that were usually part of its programming on Saturday mornings in years past for at least some of the programs for the brand that were part of its programming on the Saturday of the nineteenth day of this May (note #1: some of the programs appeared to had been part of its programming within certain periods of time in which programs unrelated to the brand were usually part of it programming in recent times (the first and second halves of the hours of 11:00 a.m.) instead of the periods of time in which they were usually part of its programming on Saturday during those times (the first and second halves of the hours of 8:00 a.m. (note #2: the channel appeared to have had special programming from the provider unrelated to the brand during the first and second halves of the aforementioned hour for the aforementioned Saturday))).
  • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 p.m. on the Saturday of the nineteenth day of this May appeared to have had its news presenter (Shelby Myers) saying, "It's good to see you" immediately after saying, "Hello everyone, I'm Shelby Myers. Thanks for watching FOX 10 News" near the beginning of the first part of it to appear on the channel in that period of time that day; appeared to have had her saying, "Hmm, a beautiful day of love at Windsor and all around the world" at the beginning of a report; appeared to have had her saying, "Just so beautiful" immediately after a certain video involving a certain report; appeared to have had her saying, "A wonderful morning for the FOX 10 shred event" at the beginning of one of its other reports (immediately after one of its breaks from appearing on the channel in that period of time day); and appeared to have had her saying, "All right, you know them; those annoying calls you aren't supposed to get if you're on the do-not-call registry; so how is it happening. Jeremy Finley covering the industry of selling your phone number" before having a certain video for a certain other report (note: it was not part of the program immediately after one of its breaks from appearing on the channel in the aforementioned period of time that Saturday). 
  • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Saturday of the nineteenth day of this May ("WKRG News 5 at 10") appeared to have had its news presenter (Jason Carter) saying, "Well happening now, the Hangout Music Festival is bringing huge crowds to Gulf Shores. Everyone including organizers are really watching the weather. The fest--festival actually has a service that monitors the weather from the site; they get real-time measurements of thunderstorms including wind speed and lightning. The Hangout fest says safety has to come first, especially when dealing with huge crowds, but you don't have to have all that fancy technology when you got meteorologist Thomas Geboy" before appearing to have had a certain animated sequence with audio of an announcer saying, "Now, meteorologist Thomas Geboy, with your first alert storm team forecast" and video of a certain reporter saying, "Well if you head to the Hangout Music Festival again...tomorrow...chances are you probably going to need to keep up with the radar just in case. We're kind of stuck in a summertime pattern where we'll wake up with temperatures in the upper sixties and lower seventies and in Mobile we got to ninety degrees today; about five degrees above our typical average" immediately afterwards (note: the aforementioned reporter appeared to had been the one who usually said, "I'm meteorologist Thomas Geboy" in other parts of the program related to weather that were part of its programming before this and those of other local news programs that were part of its programming before this one in recent times).
