News for Wednesday, May 23rd, 2018 (amended)

  • The main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV appeared to have had installments of a certain news program of theirs that were part of its programming during the first half of the 10:00 p.m. on days other than Saturday and Sunday since the Monday of the fourteenth day of this May in which a certain member of their news operation (a sports reporter named Randy Patrick Setterstrom) who was usually one of the reporters for installments of it that were part of its programming on days other than Saturday and Sunday before that Monday during those times did not appear immediately after some reports of theirs related to weather immediately before their second breaks from appearing on the channel in that period of time like the installments of it that were part of its programming on days other than Saturday and Saturday in that period of time before that Monday (update for Friday, May 25th, 2018: the installment of the program that appeared on the channel in the aforementioned period of time on the Thursday of the twenty-fourth day of this May appeared to have the reporter immediately before the second break of its broadcast for that period of time day that). 
  • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the second half of the hour of 6:00 p.m. on the Tuesday of the twenty-second day of this May ("WKRG News 5 at 6:30") appeared to have had one of its news presenters (Rose Ann Haven) saying, "Plus, former Alabama chief justice Roy Moore speaks out about his failed senate run and allegations of sexual misconduct in an interview you will only see on News 5" within five seconds of one of its breaks from appearing on the channel in that period of time that day and other news presenter (Mel Showers) saying, "And now a story you will see only on News 5 tonight: for the first time since the two thousand seventeen special U. S. Senate race, Judge Roy Moore made a rare appearance to a group of republicans in Montgomery, and he spoke exclusively to our state capital bureau reporter Rashad Hudson" before appearing to have had a certain video involving texts of "JUDGE ROY MOORE", "FORMER CHIEF JUDGE", "ROY MOORE SPEAKS ABOUT FAILED SENATE RUN" and "COVERING ALABAMA POLITICS" immediately after that break.  
  • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Tuesday of the twenty-second day of this May ("WKRG News 5 at 10:00") appeared to have had some video involving audio of one of its reporters (a news reporter named Cody Long) saying, "Our Nexstar sister station WMBB was on air doing a live interview when the shots were fired and we talked to reporter Megan Myers about those tense moments", video of a certain person involving graphics with texts of "BREAKING NEWS", "MEGAN MYERS", and "MULTIMEDIA JOURNALIST, WMBB-TV"; audio of one of its news presenters (Rose Ann Haven) saying, "She has stolen our hearts here at News 5 and now many of your are following Baby Destiny's journey on line. Her story next in a very special report" over some video involving graphics with texts of "COMING UP" and "DESTINY'S SMILE" before one of its breaks from appearing on the channel in that period of time that day; and a certain video involving text of "SPECIAL REPORT: DESTINY'S SMILE" for a certain report involving words such as "Destiny" and "smile" (*note #1: Nexstar was the name of a holding company for WKRG-TV (note #2: "WMBB" was the name of another TV station for this company)). 
  • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 5:00 p.m. on the Tuesday of the twenty-second day of this May ("FOX 10 News at 5:00 p.m.") appeared to have had one of its news presenters (Byron Day) saying, "All right, Steve, thanks very much. Good idea. Maybe -- especially at the gas pump -- give that card reader a good yank to see if that's really the real deal" after having a certain report from one of its reporters (Steve Alexander Ozenovich); its other news presenter (Lenise Ligon) saying, "Oh my goodness. Hawaii's Kilauea Volcano continuing to erupt -- the lava continues to spread throughout the island. You are taking a live look at that volcano spewing right now"  immediately after one of its breaks from appearing on the channel in that period of time that day, and, "Isn't that nice? The sun trying to peak through -- a little bit? We'll be right back" immediately before one of those breaks; and one of its other reporters (a weather reporter named Jason Smith) saying, "The bottom line is we get rain -- the GFS scenario not quite as wet; the European showing we could get a foot of rain, which is ridiculous for a holiday weekend" for a part of it related to weather" after that break; the news presenter mentioned first in this paragraph saying, "You are such a buzz kill. You know that--", the reporter mentioned previously saying, "I know, I know, but, it's just a forecast. I have no control over it" immediately afterwards, and the news presenter mentioned second in this paragraph saying, "Harsh, Byron. We'll see you at nine" before appearing to laugh immediately afterwards.
