News for Saturday, May 5th, 2018

  • A Facebook page related to WKRG-TV appeared to have had some of the local news program that appeared on their main broadcast channel during the first half of the hour of 12:00 p.m. on the Thursday of the third day of this May (note: the name of the program was "WKRG News 5 at Noon").   
  • The local news programs that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Wednesday of the second day of this May ("FOX 10 News at 10:00 p.m.") and the hour of 5:00 p.m. on the Thursday of the fourth day of this May ("FOX 10 News at 5:00 p.m.") each appeared to have had a certain reporter of theirs (a news reporter named Shelby Myers) saying, "VIN numbers" after appearing to have had her saying, "Vehicle identification numbers, or VINs" for one of their reports.  
  • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 5:00 p.m. on the Thursday of the third day of this May ("FOX 10 News at 5:00 p.m.") appeared to have had one of its news presenters (Byron Day) saying, " Well the city of Spanish Fort kicking off market days this weekend; it's a chance to buy anything from baked goods, arts and crafts, and body lotion; the catch is everything has to be home made, home grown, or house crafted -- that's not a catch, that's a good thing -- Market days are every Saturday beginning this weekend; vendors will be set up at the Spanish Fort Community Center for eight in the morning until noon; the event runs through June thirtieth". 
  • A Facebook related to WALA-TV appeared to have had been used by its administration to stream live video and upload static images of a ceremony related to them and a former facility of theirs this Saturday and the local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 p.m. this Saturday ("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.") appeared to have had been used to broadcast reports related to the ceremony (note: the local news programs that appeared on the channel during the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 s.m. this Saturday ("FOX 10 News at 6:00 a.m." and "FOX 10 News at 7:00 a.m." respectively) each appeared to have had live broadcasts from around certain parts of the facility with reports regarding the idea of such a ceremony and discussions related to the building itself).
  • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 6:00 p.m. on the Thursday of the third day of this May ("WKRG News 5 at 6") appeared to have had different voices for two different announcements for a part of it related to sports ("News 5's sports athlete of the week: brought to you by Greene and ("&") Phillips Injury Lawyers" and "Now, Randy Patrick (Setterstrom), with your WKRG News 5 sports"); one that was often part of the of the endings (or closings) to certain local news programs of theirs that were part of its programming before the Sunday of the the twenty-ninth day of April for this calendar year (it was used for the first announcement mentioned) and one that was often part of the openings for certain local news programs of theirs that were often part of its programming after that Sunday (it was used for the second announcement mentioned).
  • A World Wide Web site related to WKRG-TV appeared to have had a hyperlink to an article attributed to a both a certain "CBS 42" named "Everything you need to know to watch the Royal Wedding on WKRG" located on a part of it that made text of "Everything you need to know to watch the Royal Wedding on CBS 42" appear in the title bars of certain Internet browsers whereas the part of it with the hyperlink itself appeared to have had it above some text of, "Planning to watch the royal wedding but not sure how? Good news! You can watch Meghan Markle wed Prince Harry live on CBS 42 on Saturday, May 19, 2018." whereas the article itself appeared to have had a paragraph similar to it with the exception of it having text of "WKRG" where it could have had "CBS 42" if it were made exactly like the text that appeared below the hyperlink (*note #1: "CBS 42" was a nickname for a certain TV station related to WKRG-TV by ownership (note #2: part of the name of that station (WIAT-TV) was mentioned in the article ("WIAT"))).
