News for Saturday, May 26th, 2018

  • A certain Facebook page related to a certain business based in the city of Mobile in southwest Alabama named Sign Pro appeared to had been used by its administration to post certain images each involving an automobile and an image related to WKRG-TV on the Friday of the twenty-fifth day of this May (they appeared to had been part of a groups of images of the same truck).
  • A certain Facebook page related to WAVH-FM appeared to had been used by its administration to post a certain message involving text such as, "Sponsored Political Ad by: The Campaign to Elect Judge Pat Thetford to Alabama Court of Civil Appeals" both this Saturday and the Friday of the twenty-fifth day of this May (update for Sunday, May 27th, 2018: the page appeared to had received the same message through the same administration this Sunday). 
  • The main broadcast channel for WPMI-TV occasionally appeared to have had special programming related to weather (usually involving a weather reporter for their news operation) for a period of time lasting between one minute and ten minutes at times when it usually appeared to have had programming from their main provider of network programming (the National Broadcasting Company (NBC)) on Saturday in recent times before such programming all ready in progress immediately afterwards this Saturday (for example, it appeared to have had such special programming before appearing to have had a certain program from the provider named "Today" at the beginning and the middle of the hour of 8:00 a.m. this Saturday).   
  • The local news programs that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 p.m. on the Friday of the twenty-fifth of this May ("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.") appeared to have had one of its news presenters (Byron Day) saying, "Ok heads up: if you drive a Fiat Chrysler, the automaker's recalling four point eight million vehicles due to a cruise control malfunction; now it can happen when the vehicle accelerates while the cruise control is still on. For example if a car is climbing a hill and needs more gas to maintain speed -- in the recalled vehicles this could cause a short circuit that locks the vehicle in cruise control. There have been no reported injuries; affected customers should stop using the cruise control immediately -- you'd think -- and take it to your local dealership".
  • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Tuesday of the twenty-second day of this May ("FOX 10 News at 10:00 p.m.") appeared to have had audio of a certain narrator for a certain video involving a certain report saying, "And it was pretty bad luck for two men on the Rock Creek golf course", video of one of the news presenters for the program (Lenise Ligon) saying, "Hawaii in crisis tonight", video of its other news presenter (Byron Day) saying, "It sure is; flowing lava threatening a major power plant" immediately afterwards, and the one mentioned first saying, "Just a tragic scene on the big island; we'll take you there next" immediately afterwards before one of its breaks from appearing on the channel in that period of time that day immediately afterwards before appearing to have had her saying, "Oh...my...word...just take a look at...what's just a new threat in Hawaii tonight. My goodness" while having some video with digital graphics involving texts of "NEW THREAT IN HAWAII" and "LAVA THREATENS POWER PLANT" immediately after that break before appearing to have had the other news presenter saying, "Almost Memorial Day, but the possibility of heavy rain could ruin a lot of plans" immediately after another one of those breaks before appearing to have had one of its reporters (a weather reporter named Jason Smith) saying, "Certainly not looking like a great forecast for the holiday" and, "High rain chances for the holiday weekend, that's the only good thing here is that it keeps our temperatures down -- I'm not seeing much of a heat problem" for a report related to weather before another one of those breaks before appearing to have had the news presenter mentioned previously saying, "Here in the south, football is normally king while other sports sometimes take the backseat" immediately after another one of those breaks.
