News for Saturday, May 19th, 2018

  • A certain Facebook page related to WEAR-TV appeared to had been used by its administration to post a hyperlink to an certain article regarding a local news programs of theirs ("3 in the Morning") this Saturday. 
  • A certain Facebook page related to a certain radio program (for WNYC-FM and WNYC-AM in the city of New York in the state of New York and National Public Radio (NPR)) named "On the Media" appeared to had received a certain message involving the words "Mobile" and "Alabama" from its administration this Saturday. 
  • The main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV appeared to have had an episode of a certain TV program named "The Andy Griffith Show" that was not usually listed as being part of its programming plans for the hour of 2:00 a.m. by various guides to their programming in recent times during the second half of that hour this Saturday before appearing to have had special programming from their main provider of network programming (the Columbia Broadcasting System (CBS)) at the beginning of the hour of 3:00 a.m. for this Saturday.
  • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 a.m. this Saturday appeared to have its news presenter (Asha Staples) saying, "Head out to the Hank Aaron Stadium this morning -- not for baseball, but for our free shred event -- Steve Alexander is out at the Hank now with more on what you need to know. Good morning, Steve, things just kicked off about an hour and a half ago; what do folks need to know, uh, as far as restrictions on what they can and cannot bring today" immediately after one of its breaks from appearing on the channel in that period of time. 
  • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 p.m. on the Friday of the eighteenth day of this May ("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.") appeared to have had one of its news presenters (Byron Day) saying, "About this time last night, things were still really popping around here" and one of its reporters (a weather reporter named Jason Smith) "I know, and tonight, totally different" next to him afterwards before appearing to had the news presenter saying, "Absolutely" immediately afterwards and the reporter saying, "Yeah, drier air coming in making a difference, but it's still humid at the surface" immediately afterwards before one of its breaks from appearing on the channel in that period of time that day (note: the part of the program that appeared on the channel after that break appeared to have the reporter saying, "Now last night, as Byron was talking about before the break, we had some bad storms at this hour last night, but tonight there's not much going on; one leftover batch of showers and storms up near Evergreen in Conecuh County -- and that's just about out of Conecuh County, too, and weakening fast, so the rain's just about out of here.").
