News for Wednesday, May 9th, 2018

    • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 5:00 p.m. on the Monday of the seventh day of this May ("FOX 10 News at 5:00 p.m.") appeared to have had one of its news presenters (Lenise Ligon) saying, "The nightmare continuing in Hawaii for residents in the path of Kilauea" for one of its reports. 
    • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 p.m. on the Saturday of the fifth day of this May ("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.") appeared to have had its news presenter (Shelby Myers) saying, "Just extremely emotional, there" immediately after having video of a certain interview, her appearing to had said, "So cute" immediately after presenting a certain report pertaining to news, and, "Thankfully, no one was hurt" near the end of a certain presentation of hers related to news.   
    • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 p.m. on the Sunday of the sixth day of this May ("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.") appeared to have had one of its reporters (a weather reporter named Matt Barrentine) saying the phrase, "Crazy stuff" for a report of a quake in the Gulf of Mexico, and the phrase, "Sticky junk" while discussing "dew points" (or humidity) for a report related to weather, one of its news presenters (Lee Peck) saying the phrase,"A local hero" in reference to a certain being , and both his self and another news presenter (Shelby Myers) saying, "Happy birthday" in a discussion of a report of a celebration for the aforementioned being involving the word "birthday". 
    • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 6:00 p.m. on the Monday of the seventh day of this May ("WKRG News 5 at 6") appeared to have its news presenters (Mel Showers and Rose Ann Haven) discussing a certain report related to what one of its reporters (a news reporter named Joseph Blake (J. B.) Biunno) had called "phones" for another news program of theirs (for example, it appeared to have the news presenter named Rose Ann Haven saying, "Look[ing] forward to seeing that; plus we parents pay for those phones" and the reporter saying, "Oh yeah, that's right" after appearing to have had the same reporter saying, "This is a conversation that more and more parents are having with their sons, having with their daughters; more now are getting phones at younger and younger ages all the time. We're going to have more on this tonight at ten o'clock. It'll be a pretty good story" (note: the name of the other news program was "WKRG News 5 at 10")). 
    • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 p.m. on the Monday of the sixteenth day of the month of April for this calendar year ("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.") appeared to have had audio of its news presenter (Lenise Ligon) saying, "Prove them wrong, I love that" after appearing to have had video of a certain person saying, "And I just want them to know that, 'Hey, you can do it. Uh, when people doubt you or don't think that you are what they think you should be, you prove them wrong", and audio of the news presenter saying, "A local officer honored today: Officer Kenyada Taylor, a Williamson alum, is moving on to work with the FBI. A ceremony was held to celebrate the two thousand one grad. The school presenting her, there, with the "You Made the Difference" plaque. She was honored for her work and dedication to the City of Mobile and also Williamson High School. Taylor says she didn't make it this far by her self and she has some advice, too, for current students pushing towards their future careers".
