News for Friday, June 8th, 2018
- The main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV appeared to have a certain
graphic (including a certain logo related to them) often used for
displaying current times and temperatures over some of the local news
programming (for their news operation) that was part of its programming
in recent times over some of their syndicated programming that was part
of its programming this Friday (note #1: the graphic appeared to had been used in the same manner (note #2: some of the syndicated programming appeared to had involved episodes or installments of certain programs named "The Big Bang Theory" and "Family Feud")).
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for
WALA-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Thursday
of the seventh day of this June ("FOX 10 News at 10:00 p.m.") appeared to have had one of its news presenters (Lenise Ligon)
saying, "Ah, just very chilling to listen to that audio that's being
released tonight of the Las Vegas massacre" and its other news presenter
(Byron Day)
saying, "FOX News' Jonathan Hunt shows us the terrifying video and
you'll also hear more panicked nine-one-one calls from that terrifying
night" immediately afterwards before appearing to have had a certain video with a report
involving details similar to those statements immediately afterwards.
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for
WALA-TV during the hour of 5:00 p.m. on the Thursday of the seventh day of this June ("FOX 10 News at 5:00 p.m.") appeared to had have one of their news presenters (Byron Day) saying, "Well a former guest star on FOX 10's 'Fugitive Files' is behind bars tonight" and, "Yeah, that's Raven Yates -- uh,
apparently thinking she's walking the red carpet or running for office;
actually she's heading to Metro" for one of its reports whereas the local news program that appeared on the channel during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. that day ("FOX 10 News at 10:00 p.m.") appeared to have had audio of the same news
presenter saying, "She may still be talking -- that's Raven Yates, a
former guest star on FOX 10's 'Fugitive Files' " for a report similar to the one mentioned earlier.
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for
WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 p.m. on the Thursday of the seventh day
of this June ('FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m." ) appeared to have had one of
its news presenters (Lenise Ligon) saying, "Well a crazy story from
North Carolina tonight", its other news presenter (Bob Grip)
saying,
"Yeah, listen to this: a pizza shop employee is behind bars and facing
charges after police say he put rat poison into the cheese at the shop"
immediately afterwards,
and the one mentioned first saying, "And that poisoned cheese was not
used -- it's because the restaurant's general manager knew something
wasn't right. Here's the story" immediately afterwards before appearing
to have had a certain video with a report involving details similar to
those statements immediately afterwards
(note: the program appeared to have had the news presenter named Lenise
Ligon saying, Wow!" and the one named Bob Grip
saying, "Hmm" immediately after having that video).
- Some of the local news programming WKRG-TV had on their main broadcast
channel on the Thursday of the seventh day of this June appeared to
have had reports of a certain "Douglas Dunson" being "kicked out"
and "thrown out" in which only one of those phrases was used (for
example, the local news program that appeared on the channel during the
first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. that day ("WKRG News 5 at 10")
appeared to have one of its reporters (a news reporter named Peter Albrecht) saying, "Douglas Dunson lasted in the courtroom: about two
minutes before Judge Jill Phillips threw him out. Dunson began muttering
about being able to represent himself and began speaking back to the
judge. She had Dunson thrown out of the courtroom and held without bond"
and some digital graphics with texts of "DOUGLAS DUNSON THROWN OUT OF
COURT" and "COVERING MOBILE") whereas some of the local news programming
WALA-TV had on their main broadcast channel on the same Thursday had
reports of a "Douglas Dunson" being thrown out without the words "kicked out" ever being mentioned in an audible way while having digital graphics
involving text resembling the words "kicked out"("KICKED OUT OF
COURTROOM" and "NO BOND FOR ATTEMPTED RAPE SUSPECT").
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for
WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Thursday
of the thirty-first day of the month of May for this calendar year
("WKRG News 5 at 10") appeared to have had one of its reporters (a
sports reporter named Randy Patrick Setterstrom) saying, "All right, I had to be honest: I was never
a big fan of naming the Southern League baseball team the BayBears", one of its news presenters (Mel Showers) saying, "That is until you saw it--" immediately afterwards, the reporter
saying, "Tonight", and, "I'm finally buying it,
but now it's too late" immediately afterwards, the news presenter saying
"A
black bear in the bay" immediately afterwards, and the reporter saying,
"We're going to talk
more about the BayBears in just a few moments" immediately afterwards after appearing to have had news presenter presenting a report
involving phrases such as "black bear" and "Mobile Bay" immediately after one of its breaks from appearing on the channel in that period of time that day (this was how the report began: "Photographs you've got to
see: a
black bear taking a dip in Mobile Bay. Take a look: this was taken by
Patrick Hill" (note #1: the program appeared to have had digital graphics with texts of "BLACK BEAR TAKES A DIP IN MOBILE" and,
"BEAR SPOTTED SWIMMING NEAR FORT MORGAN" while having that report (note #2: the part of the program that appeared on the channel before that break appeared to have had audio of that news presenter saying, "And an usual
sight
captured in Mobile Bay: a bear out for a swim -- the story behind the
photos coming up next" immediately before that break))).
