News for Thursday, May 31st, 2018

  • A certain YouTube channel related to WALA-TV appeared to had been used by its administration to upload video of some members of their news operation (a news reporter named Devan Coffaro and some news presenters named Lenise Ligon and Byron Day) saying personal statements to each other and one of those members appearing to laugh immediately after ones of those statements on a local news program of theirs that appeared on the channel during the hour of 5:00 p.m. this Thursday ("FOX 10 News at 5:00 p.m.").
  • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Wednesday of the thirtieth day of the month of May for this calendar year appeared to have had audio of one of its news presenters (Mel Showers) saying, "Well good luck" between parts of a report and one of its reporters (a weather reporter named Thomas Geboy) saying, "Well we're quickly getting away from just non-stop rain very similar to what we we had today and we're going back to a normal summertime pattern and tonight we got kind of a normal summertime sunset from the Causeway here in Mobile. You see Mobile in the distance, which was taken by our news director where you can see the calm water - very nice scene in the backdrop" while having video involving texts of "CAUSEWAY SUNSET" and "NEWS 5 NEWS DIRECTOR". 
  • The main broadcast channel for WEAR-TV appeared to have had a certain program of theirs named "Stormwatch" when it was usually set to have programming from their main provider of network programming (the American Broadcasting Company (ABC)) on a daily basis in recent times (the first half of the hour of 7:00 p.m.) on the Wednesday of the thirtieth day of this May (note: some guides to the main broadcast channel for WEAR-TV on some World Wide Web sites named Zap2it, TitanTV, and TV Passport appeared to have had the name of a certain program for the provider ("The Goldbergs") listed for a certain period of time (including the first half of the hour of 1:00 a.m.) in which they and other guides to the channel usually appeared to have had certain texts referencing certain programs not listed in guides to the a certain programming feed for the provider on a certain site related to the provider (such as "paid program" and "paid programming") from Monday through Friday in recent time. 
  • A local TV program dedicated to entertainment and lifestyles that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 a.m. on the Wednesday of the thirtieth day of this May ("Studio 10") appeared to have had no audio for a period of two seconds immediately after appearing to have had video of a certain person saying, "This year is intense and I'm going to kick..." (note: the person appeared to had said this immediately afterwards: "I'm going to take down Aaron Sanchez and I'm going to put Joe Bastianich back polishing cutlery. This year it's on"), video of one of its hosts (Chasity Byrd) saying, "The volume was turned down at one point" immediately after having the video involving the person mentioned earlier, video of its other host (Joe Emer) saying, "Mmm-hmm. Sometimes that--that dude yells a lot (the first host mentioned appeared to had laughed by this point) and he uses words that we don't always use those words on this show (the first host mentioned appeared to had said, "Right" by this point) and by don't always I mean never", immediately afterwards, video of the host mentioned first saying, "Never! Fines! Let's talk about the weather" immediately afterwards, and video of the host mentioned second saying, "Let's talk about the weather" immediately afterwards.
  • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the second half of the hour of 6:00 p.m. on the Wednesday of the thirtieth day of the month of May for this calendar year ("WKRG News 5 at 6:30") appeared to have had one of its reporters (a sports reporter named Randy Patrick Setterstrom) saying the following statements to one of its news presenters (Peter Albrecht) for a part of it related to sports: "I have to admit, most of the, uh, local press hadn't heard of Jim Nagy until yesterday -- and Pete, I'm one of them -- he's been in the NFL for almost twenty years as a scout, but he's called Mobile home for eleven years -- you'd think we would have run into him somewhere along the way. He knows the game of scouting and he seems to have a personality that fits this job and he has scouted for the Redskins, the Patriots, and the Seahawks" (note #1: the program appeared to have had the news presenter saying this immediately after the aforementioned statements attributed to the reporter: "Yes, some pretty good organizations there -- no doubt" (note #2: the program appeared to have the same news presenter saying this in precedence of the aforementioned statements: "All right, Randy, yesterday we found out who the new director of the Senior Bowl was going to be -- today we got to meet him and hear from him" (note #3: the program appeared to have had the reporter saying this immediately before those aforementioned statements "That's it -- we've actually got two new guys in the front office -- Jim Nagy is the new executive director for the Senior Bowl and former NFL assistant and Mississippi State head coach Sylvester Croom becomes the senior vice president of operations -- Croom did not attend the conference this morning"))).
