News for Saturday, October 17th, 2015
- The local TV programming service provided by the Mobile County Public School System (MCPSS TV) had at least one episode of a series of animated theatrical movies from between the years 1941 and 1943 about a fictional character named Superman in its programming today (note: the episode was broadcast in the wrong aspect ratio since it appeared more horizontal than it was meant to appear).
- The main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV had local news
programming instead of a new edition of a nationally-syndicated TV
program based in Mobile ("Today's Homeowner with Danny Lipford") that was set to be part of its programming for today in accordance with their regular programming plan for Saturday due to network programming about a live collegiate football game ending during the second half of the hour in which it would have had both both local news
programming and the syndicated program in accordance with that plan (6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.) (note: local news programming was usually set for the first half of the time period before then).
