- One of the weather reporters for WALA-TV (Matt Barrentine) made this comment about the general director of the National Weather Commission in the country of Mexico (Roberto Ramirez de la Parra) predicting where a tropical cyclone named "Patricia" could go after arriving in Mexico this past Friday, October 23rd, on their local news program for Saturday and Sunday mornings today ("FOX 10 News in the Morning"): "And just for folks to know--that, that official in Mexico talking about it reaching the Gulf of Mexico and re-intensifying, he has no idea what he's talking about (the news presenter for the program (Candace Murphy) reacted to this part of the comment with laughter). That's not happening, ok (the news presenter responded by saying, "That's why we have you here", to which he replied, "Yeah, I don't know where he got that from, but that's not what's going to happen")".
from one of the authors of a former World Wide Web site named Examiner.com, specifically two sections of it that were part of its existence: "Mobile (Alabama) TV Examiner" and "Mobile (Alabama) Radio Examiner" (note: this site could have certain features that could be seen without certain programs blocking them; each period of time mentioned on this site without any indication of the time zone to which it applied was a period of time for the Central time zone of the United States)
