• One of the news presenters for WKRG-TV's local news operation (Ashley Knight) used the final segment of their local 10:00 p.m. news program for this Sunday ("WKRG News 5 at 10") to make an announcement about one of their weather reporters (Jonathan Owens) being set to leave his position with them in order to pursue certain opportunities outside their company (the weather reporter commented on the announcement while part of the segment).

• According to the guides to the main broadcast channel for WFNA-TV provided by TitanTV, TV Guide, and Comcast, a nationally-syndicated TV program that usually appeared on the main broadcast channel for their companion station (WKRG-TV) on Saturday evenings whenever it was not partially or completely pre-empted by either local news programming or collegiate football programming was set to appear on their own main broadcast channel on a regular basis recently (the name of the program was "Today's Homeowner with Danny Lipford"; as for when it would to be part of WFNA-TV's programming on a regular basis, that would be on Sundays between 5:00 a.m. and 5:30 a.m.).
