News for Monday, June 19th, 2017

  • The programming feed for WABF-AM had a program described by one of its hosts (Lori DuBose (the name of its other host was Alan Lipscomb)) as "a new weekly talk show ('program') for and about small businesses" during the first half of the hour of 10:00 a.m. this Monday (a recording of it was uploaded onto a World Wide Web site attributed to WABF-AM afterwards; as for its name, it was "Small Business News").
  • The local news programs that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the first halves of the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. for the Saturday of the seventeenth day of this June ("WKRG News 5 at 6" and "WKRG News 5 at 10" respectively) had video of a member of their local news operation (Peter Albrecht) talking about a plan to have two of their local news programs ("WKRG News 5 at 6 [p.m.]" and "WKRG News 5 at 6:30 [p.m.]") broadcast from an aeroplex in the city of Mobile in southwest Alabama (the Mobile Aeroplex at Brookley Field) this Tuesday on the twentieth day of this June.
  • A live video stream normally used for streaming local news programs and a local program dedicated to entertainment and lifestyles (named "Studio 10") on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV in recent times had videos of what appeared to be various places outside their local broadcast area (such as the Capitol in the city of Washington in the District of Columbia and the the Statue of Liberty on Liberty Island near the state of New York) and graphics related to the New York Stock Exchange instead of the editions of the programs that appeared on the channel this morning (a graphic that usually appeared on the stream during breaks for the programs stream still appeared on the stream occasionally (it usually had the words "We'll be right back after this break" and one of the logos for the local news operation at WALA-TV).
