- WEAR-TV had special news programming (about what appeared to be a live news conference) from their local news operation take precedence over regular programming on their main broadcast channel during the first half of the hour of 2:00 p.m. this Tuesday.
- The main broadcast channel for WALA-TV had some video (an advertisement) of an announcement about a member of their local news operation (a news presenter and a news reporter named Renee Dials) retiring and a plan to have a retrospective of her career on one of their local news programs during the evening hours of the Sunday of the twenty-fifth day of this June ("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.").
- Some of the local news programs that had appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV since the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Monday of the nineteenth day of this June had some members of their local news operation standing in front of a group of (nine) monitors normally used on those programs in recent times (rather than sitting behind a desk with those monitors behind them in accordance with how they usually appeared on those programs in recent times) to present reports about stormy weather in the Gulf of Mexico while those monitors collectively displayed animated graphics involving the words "Tracking the Tropics".
