News for Tuesday, June 13th, 2017

  • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the second half of the hour of 6:00 p.m. this Tuesday ("WKRG News 5 at 6:30") had a report about a professional actor originally from the city of Mobile in southwest Alabama (named Richard Tyson) working on a TV program in the area named "Bama P. I.".
  • One of the members of the local news operation at WKRG-TV (Randy Patrick Setterstorm*) had used a segment of the local news program that appeared on their main broadcast channel during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. this Tuesday ("WKRG News 5 at 10 [p.m.]") to introduce a person he said was the newest member of its "sports (news) team" (Robby Benson).
  • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WPMI-TV during the first half of the hour of 5:00 p.m. this Tuesday ("Local 15 News at 5 p.m.") had video of what appeared to be a living dog superimposed over a graphic for displaying predictions of temperatures and chances of rain for parts of their local broadcast area this Tuesday (the weather reporter on the program (Chris Dunn) was talking about when some folks in the area could take other dogs out for walks based on those predictions while part of the program with the video**).
(*he usually appeared to be the only member to do reports about sports for some of its local news programs on a regular basis by then, specifically since the year 2008).

(**a World Wide Web site attributed to WPMI-TV had what appeared to be a recording of the part of the program with the video after its broadcast)
