- Some of the local news programs that had appeared on the main
broadcast channel for WPMI-TV on the Friday on the twenty-fifth day of
this August appeared to have video of a member of their local news
operation (Nicole Fierro) doing live reports (about a tropical cyclone) from the state of Texas.
- One of the hosts of a local TV program dedicated to entertainment
and lifestyles that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV
during the hour of 9:00 a.m. on the Monday of the twenty-third day of
this August (Chasity Byrd of "Studio 10" ) had said a certain chef did not "show up" before presenting some segments of it dedicated to cooking with its other host (Joe Emer).*
- The local news programs that appeared on the main broadcast channel
for WALA-TV during the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. this past Friday
("FOX 10 News at 5:00 p.m." and "FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.") each
appeared to have video of a news reporter of a national cable TV and
satellite TV programming service (Stacey Cohan of the Cable News Network
(CNN)) broadcasting from a remote
location in the city of Corpus Christi in the state of Texas along with
video of some news presenters for the local news operation at WALA-TV (Bob Grip and Lenise Ligon) interacting with her from the interior of a studio.
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel
for WKRG-TV between the first and second halves of the hour of 10:00
p.m. on the Saturday of the twenty-sixth day of this August ("WKRG News 5
at 10") had its news presenter (Ashley Knight)
refer to a member of their holding (or "parent") company** like a
member of their own company while introducing video of a news report
(this is how she did it: "Now as Hurricane Harvey carves through the
coastal end, one of the questions on many peoples' minds is what happens
