- WKRG-TV and WPMI-TV had some reports about the department of police for the city of Mobile in southwest Alabama being featured on a national TV program (named "The First 48") for a national cable TV and satellite TV programming service (named A&E) on some local news programs of theirs for this Monday.
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WPMI-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. this Tuesday ("Local 15 News at 10 p.m.") had a report about a plan for their main broadcast channel and their official World Wide Web site to have a special program about a debate between candidates for the position of mayor of the city of Mobile on the Monday of the seventh day of August for this calendar year (specifically during both halves of the hour of 6:00 p.m. for that day).**
