News for Monday, March 19th, 2018

  • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 p.m. on the Saturday of the seventeenth day of this March ("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.") appeared to have had a video with a report attributed to their news operation involving the words, "Maybe they can try the Irish yoga class to get a little extra energy" as part of its narrative.
  • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 12:00 p.m. this Monday ("WKRG News 5 at Noon") appeared to have had its news presenter (Bill Riales) saying, "Who's a big sweetie?" immediately after having a video involving a dog and a member of their news operation who was usually its news presenter in other installments of it that were part of the programming of the channel in that period of time from Monday through Friday before this Monday (Devon Walsh) before having the video itself (note: there was some sounds of laughter immediately afterwards).
  • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during second half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. and the first half of the hour of 11:00 p.m. on the Sunday of the eighteenth day of this March ("WKRG News 5 at 10")* appeared to have had a certain video involving text resembling the words "filmed video of possible beer" for one of its reports immediately after appearing to have had its news presenter (Mary Smith) presenting a statement involving the word "filmed" without any mention of "video" whereas a World Wide Web site related to WKRG-TV appeared to had received an article with details similar to those of the video and the statement not involving the word "filmed" later in the hour of 11:00 p.m. that day.
  • Some of the local news programming WKRG-TV had on their main broadcast channel this Monday often appeared to have had a member of their news operation either ending a report or reintroducing a local news program of theirs with a certain phrase not often used either way for the local news programming it had prior to this Monday in recent times (examples: the local news program it had during the first half of the hour of 12:00 p.m. this Monday ("WKRG News 5 at Noon") appeared to have had some news reporters of theirs (Katarina Luketich and Chad Petri) saying it ("WKRG News 5: local coverage you can count on") from separate (remote) locations ("Reporting live, Katarina Luketich, WKRG News 5: local coverage you can count on" and, "Chad Petri, WKRG News 5: local coverage you can count on") and the local news program it had during the first half of the hour of 6:00 p.m. for this Monday ("WKRG News 5 at 6") appeared to have had audio of one of its news presenters (Rose Ann Haven) reintroducing it ("Welcome to back to News 5 at six o'clock: local coverage you can count on") (note #1: the first program mentioned appeared to have had its news presenter (Bill Riales) saying, "Thanks Kat" immediately after having the report from the reporter named Katarina Luketich (note #2: the second program appeared to have had a video involving another reporter of theirs (Drexel Gilbert) ending a report without it ("Drexel Gilbert, News 5")))).
(*the channel was usually set to have a local news program of theirs during the first thirty-five minutes of the hour of 10:00 p.m. before other forms of programming during the rest of the hour and the hour of 11:00 p.m. on a daily basis in recent times (as for it during the first thirty-five minutes of the hour of 10:00 p.m. in place of a local news program of theirs that Sunday; it had network programming from their main provider of such programming (the Columbia Broadcasting System (CBS)).
