News for Wednesday, March 14th, 2018

  • A local TV program dedicated to entertainment and lifestyles that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WPMI-TV during the second half of the hour of 12:00 p.m. on the Monday of the twelfth day of this March ("Gulf Coast Today") appeared to have had an interview with a certain mayor for one of the cities in their local broadcast area (William Sandys ("Sandy") Stimpson).  
  • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 12:00 p.m. this Wednesday ("WKRG News 5 at Noon") appeared to have had a type of segment (usually involving an interview with a person or group of persons specialized in health) that was not usually part of its broadcasts for that period of time on Wednesday in recent times (note: the segments of it involving such an interview were usually called "The Doctor is In"; as for the broadcasts of it for that part of the hour that usually had them in recent times, they were usually on Friday during those times).
  • A local TV program dedicated to entertainment and lifestyles that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 a.m. on the Monday of the twelfth day of this March ("Studio 10") appeared to have had a certain member of their broadcast operation usually credited as having been one of its producers (Danielle ("Dani") Dials) in some of the local news programming it had in recent times (note: A Facebook page attributed to her appeared to have had a message attributed to her dated for that Tuesday related to her being part of the installment of the program that appeared on the channel that day).
  • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 p.m. on the Saturday of the tenth day of this March ("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.") appeared to had its news presenter (Shelby Myers) saying, "All right, welcome back everyone. You know how much kids like big trucks, well children from around the area had a chance to explore a wide variety of them today at Hank Aaron Stadium -- it was an event called 'Touch a Truck' and children touched and explored trucks and machinery like police, fire, and garbage trucks. The event supported the Mitchell Cancer Institute and Adoption Rocks" and, "FOX 10 News was a sponsor of the Touch A Truck event, so the FOX 10 News Stormtracker van was there. Here you see our meteorologist Adam Olivier at the event with the Azalea Trail Maids. They're posing in front of the van".
