News for Tuesday, March 13th, 2018

  • The main broadcast channels for WALA-TV, WPMI-TV, WKRG-TV, and WEAR-TV each appeared to have special news programming from their respective news operations (involving reports of a certain bus having crashed in their local broadcast areas) in place of regular programming (including programs from national and local sources) during some of the morning hours for this Tuesday (including the hours of 7:00 a.m., 8:00 a.m., 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.).
  • The local news program WKRG-TV had on their main broadcast channel during the first half of the hour of 12:00 p.m. this Tuesday ("WKRG News 5 at Noon") appeared to have its news presenters (Bill Riales and Devon Walsh) communicating with a certain Michelle Choi of a certain TV station not related to them by ownership located outside of their local broadcast area (KHOU-TV in the city of Houston in the state of Texas (note: the letters "TV" were not mentioned on the program).*
  • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Wednesday of the seventh day of this March ("WKRG News 5 at 10") appeared to have had one of its news presenters (Rose Ann Haven) saying, "Now we are working with our affiliate in Birmingham to get you the very latest information; we will hear from WIAT reporter Michael Clark live in about ten minutes" and, "Michael Clark from our sister station WIAT is live outside the school with the very latest" before appearing to interact with a certain person in a location separate from hers with its other news presenter (Mel Showers) beside her (note: the person with whom she appeared to had been interacting appeared to had said, "For now, reporting in Birmingham, I'm Michael Clark for the Nexstar Network" by the end of his appearing on the program).**
  • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 p.m. this Tuesday ("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.") appeared to have had its news presenter (Bob Grip) appearing to reference a certain Randy Wallace of a certain "FOX 26" before having him in a digital box appearing to address a separate person in a separate location appearing in a separate digital box as "Randy" (the news presenter appeared to had said this while referencing this "Randy Wallace": "Students, faculty members, and Channelview residents gathered tonight to hold a prayer vigil for the students injured in the deadly charter bus crash; FOX 26's Randy Wallace joins us now live from Channelview. Randy, what can you tell us?" (note #1: the program appeared to have had the aforementioned person separate from the news presenter saying, "Reporting live from Channelview, Randy Wallace, FOX 10 News" after having a certain video related to the aforementioned statements attributed to the news presenter (note #2: the local news program that appeared on the channel during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. that day ("FOX 10 News at 10:00 p.m.") appeared to have had the same news presenter presenting statements similar to the ones mentioned in the previous note ("Students, faculty members, and Channelview residents gathered tonight to hold a prayer vigil for the students injured in the deadly charter bus crash; FOX 26's Randy Wallace has more from Channelview") before having a video of a report similar to the video also mentioned in that note ("Reporting from Channelview, Randy Wallace, FOX 10 News")))).
(*the program usually did not have two news presenters in other installments of it that were part of the programming of the channel during the first half of the hour of 12:00 p.m. from Monday through Friday in recent times).

(**WKRG-TV was usually related to a station named WIAT-TV in recent times due to their being part of a company named the Nexstar Media Group).
