News for Tuesday, March 27th, 2018

  • A Facebook page related to a national radio program named "Beyond Reality Message" appeared to have had a message from its administration concerning WAVH-FM and the program itself dated for the Monday of the twenty-sixth day of this March.
  • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 p.m. on the Sunday of the twenty-fifth day of this March ("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.") appeared to have had one of its news presenters (Shelby Myers) saying, "And some good news tonight" before having its other news presenter (Lee Peck) present one of its reports immediately afterwards 
  • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. on the Monday of the twenty-sixth day of this March ("FOX 10 News at 10:00 p.m.") appeared to have had its news presenter (Bob Grip) saying, "We have some good news for you tonight" before presenting a report similar to the one referenced in the paragraph above this one. 
  • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 p.m. this Tuesday ("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.") appeared to have had its news presenter (Bob Grip) saying, "I hate to tell you this, but the flu is making a comeback; it's still another reason to get a flu shot if you can" immediately before one of its breaks from appearing on the channel in that period of time (note: the part of the program that appeared on the channel in that period of time afterwards appeared to have had a report involving the word "flu" being presented by him). 
  • The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the second half of the hour of 6:00 p.m. on the Friday of the ninth day of this March ("WKRG News 5 at 6:30") appeared to have had audio of one of its news presenters (Rose Ann Haven) saying, "An Alabama deputy goes above and beyond in helping a mother in labor; we'll hear from the hero after the break" over some video involving digital graphics and text of "COMING UP", "Deputy Goes Above and Beyond", and "ON NEWS 5 AT 6:30PM" before one of its breaks from appearing on the channel in that period of time that day before having its other news presenter (Mel Showers) saying, "An Alabama deputy who was in the right place at the right time to protect and deliver; Reporter Elizabeth White met with the deputy to hear his amazing story" immediately before having a certain video involving a report related to what he appeared to had been saying and the news presenter mentioned earlier saying, "That was Elizabeth White reporting" immediately after having it after the break (note: neither one of the news presenters or any other person on the program other than the reporter mentioned earlier had said whether the reporter was a member of WKRG-TV or not while part of the installment of it that was part of the programming of the channel in the period of time mentioned earlier).
  • A Facebook page attributed to WKRG-TV appeared to have had been used by its administration to stream live video of a certain member of the news operation for WKRG-TV (Robby Baker) discussing a plan for the operation to have a certain type of "show" related to sports on a weekly basis (beginning with the Sunday of the first day of this April) this past Sunday on the twenty-fifth day of this March (the local news program that appeared in the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour of 6:00 p.m. on the Monday of the twenty-sixth day of this March ("WKRG News 5 at 6") appeared to have audio of one of its reporters (Randy Patrick Setterstrom) saying, "And this Sunday night, WKRG 5 sports will pre--uh, debut WKRG 5 Sports Overtime -- it's a new thirty-minute sports show that will air live following the ten o'clock Sunday news -- there will be highlights, features, interviews, and much more; Robby Baker looking forward to kicking things off this Sunday night. WKRG Sports Overtime starting at ten thirty-five (10:35)" and one of its news presenters (Mel Showers) saying, "Ok, I look forward to that and thank you so very much, Randy. More in just a moment" immediately after before one of its breaks from appearing on the channel in that period of time that day whereas the local news program that appeared on the same channel during the second half of that hour that day ("WKRG News 5 at 6:30") appeared to have had audio of the same reporter saying, "And this Sunday night, WKRG Sports Overtime making its debut -- it's a new thirty...five-minute, duh, sports show that will feature all kinds of great sports events from the weekend, from the weeks. Uh -- Robby Baker and I will be teaming up to bring you...what we think is going to be an outstanding show and it's going to debut at ten thirty-five (10:35) Sunday night" and the same news presenter saying, "I will tune in. Thank you, Randy. More in just a moment" immediately afterwards before one of its breaks from appearing on the channel in that period of time that day.
