• WKRG-TV has a new news reporter named Jacqueline Quyhn (her first day with them was this past Monday, December 15th). 

• The Mobile, Alabama-Pensacola, Florida TV market was profiled for this calendar week's edition of a weekly series of magazines titled "Broadcasting & Cable" and the official World Wide Web site for it. 

• Most of this past Thursday's edition of WKRG-TV's local midday news program ("WKRG News 5 at Noon") was dedicated to the conclusion of their sixth annual "Great Toy Drive" since it was scheduled to end by 12:00 p.m. that day (for example, its first segment took place entirely in the room used to store the toys collected from the drive).
