- According to the programming guides for WJTC-TV from Zap2it, TitanTV, and TV Guide, they were set to have more special programming in observance of Christmastime between the hours of 7:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. next Tuesday (December 23rd), Wednesday (December 24th; also known as Christmas Eve), Thursday (December 25th; also known as Christmas Day), and Friday (December 26th).
- The news presenter on this past Saturday's (December 20th) edition of WALA-TV's local
9:00 p.m. program (the name of the news presenter was Renee Dials; the program of the program was "FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.") had credited a student of the
University of South Alabama in Mobile named Tre Baaheth for producing
video she said was exclusive to WALA-TV; it had other students of the
university boarding buses set to take them to Montgomery, Alabama for
them to witness a football game expected to take place that day involving the football team for the university (the game was to be called the Camellia Bowl).
