• The news presenter on this past Wednesday's (December 3rd) edition of WALA-TV's local 5:00 p.m. news program referred to the program as "your most local news at 5:00" four times during its broadcast (the name of the news presenter was Bob Grip; the name of the program was "FOX 10 News at 5:00 p.m."). 

• WALA-TV had a report about a resident of Foley, Alabama who had participated in a national TV program titled "Redneck Island" broadcast this past Wednesday as part of their local 5:00 p.m. news program since the national cable TV and satellite TV programming service Country Music Television was set to have the first edition of a new series of editions of this program with her in their programming for the first time today.

• The weather reporter for WKRG-TV who was away from his regular positions on their midday news program ("WKRG News 5 at Noon") this past Wednesday due to an illness that caused the pitch of his regular voice to be lower than usual on their morning news program ("WKRG News 5 This Morning") that day was able to be in his regular position on the morning news program today in spite of the illness and the pitch of his regular voice still being lower than usual (the name of the weather reporter was John Nodar).
