News for Tuesday, December 30th, 2014
- According to WPMI-TV, the broadcast times for this past Monday's edition of their local midday news program ("Local 15 News at Noon") and today's edition of it were set to be shorter than its average broadcast time due to their plan to have paid commercial programming during the second half of its regular broadcast time period (12:30 p.m. to 1:00 p.m) on both days.
- According to the TV programming guides for WEAR-TV from Zap2it and TV Guide, they would have special local programming about a celebration of the coming of the next calendar year expected to take place in Pensacola, Florida (the celebration would be called "The Pensacola Pelican Drop" celebration, take the place of their main broadcast channel's (radio frequency channel 17-1/virtual channel 3-1) network programming (including special network programming to be called "New Year's Rockin' Eve") between 11:53 p.m. this Wednesday, December 31st, and 12:09 a.m. this Thursday, January 1st.
- According to the programming schedule for WNSP-FM (105.5) on their official World Wide Web site, they
would have a nationally-syndicated sports radio program titled "Under Center with McNabb & Malone" take the place of "The Paul Finebaum Show"*(another nationally-syndicated sports radio program) in their regular
programming plans for Monday through Friday beginning this Thursday (*see report for last Monday, December 22nd, about WAVH-FM's (106.5) plan to have "The Paul Finebaum Show" added to their regular programming plans for Monday through Friday shortly after this Thursday).
