• Last Friday's (December 12th) edition of WALA-TV's local 9:00 p.m. news program ("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.) had a report with Renee Dials of their news department pronouncing the name "Schillinger Road" as if it were spelled with an apostrophe s during her narration for the report (this was a common mispronunciation in WALA-TV's local broadcast area by then, normally among interviewees or guests for local TV and radio programs)

• Lenise Ligon of WALA-TV's news department used part of last Friday's edition of their local 9:00 p.m. news program to tell its audience to remember that the official World Wide Web site for WALA-TV is their "best source for news, weather, traffic, and sports" (she actually said, "Remember that FOX10TV.com is your best source for news, weather, traffic, and sports").

• Lenise Ligon corrected herself on the brand name for her station's news operation ("FOX 10 News") on their local 5:00 p.m. news program ("FOX 10 News at 5:00 p.m.") this past Monday (December 15th) after having frequently referred to the operation incorrectly ("FOX News") in their local news programming since the day she began presenting news for their local news programming on a regular basis (back in a year 2008) and usually not correcting herself on it.
