• Today's edition of WPMI-TV's local morning news program ("Local 15 Today") did not have Colton Bradford of WKSJ-FM (94.9) present information about public events expected to take place in the Mobile, Alabama-Pensacola, Florida TV market between now and this Sunday, December 14th, like previous Thursday editions of it. The news presenters on today's edition of the program (Kelly Jones and Darwin Singleton) did it instead.

• During the 6:00 a.m. hour of the aforementioned news program, one of its news presenters said the network TV news program "Today" would have today's announcements of the nominees for an awards ceremony expected to take place next January in "about an hour" (between 7:20 a.m. and 7:30 a.m.) without saying WPMI-TV would have a recording of its segment featuring the announcement broadcast one hour after it was made in accordance with how they usually had each of the program's segments broadcast by then.
