• WPMI-TV had an interview with a professional wrestler with the pseudonym Jay Lethal (his legal name was Jamar Shipman) on their local midday news program ("Local 15 News at Noon") this past Thursday, December 4th, to promote a plan by the wrestling company he represented (Ring of Honor Wrestling Entertainment) to hold a series of wrestling matches in New York, New York, this Sunday, December 7th (WPMI-TV and Right of Honor Wrestling Entertainment are members of the same company, the Sinclair Broadcast Group).

• The news presenter for WALA-TV's local 4:00 p.m., 5:00 p.m., and 9:00 p.m. news programs for Monday through Friday who had a chest cold while on this past Monday's (December 1st) editions of the 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. news programs was away from her positions until this past Thursday (her name was Lenise Ligon; the names of the news programs were "FOX 10 News at 4:00 p.m.", "FOX 10 News at 5:00 p.m.", and "FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m.; the pitch of her voice on this past Thursday's editions of the programs was not as low as it was this past Monday).
