• According to the official World Wide Web site for WALA-TV, their main broadcast channel was set to have a special program about various choirs from their local broadcast area several times this December (the name of the program was "Sounds of the Season"). 

• The main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV had a promotional video about a plan for it to have special local programming about a Christmas parade expected to happen in the city of Pensacola in the state of Florida this Saturday on the tenth day of this December between the second half of the hour of 5:00 p.m. and the beginning of the hour of 7:00 p.m. that day.

• The news presenter for the local news programs that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WPMI-TV during the morning and midday hours of this Friday (Darwin Singleton of "Local 15 Today" and "Local 15 News at Noon") talked about a plan for the channel to have special programming about a parade of boats expected to happen near the cities of Gulf Shores and Orange Beach in southwest Alabama this Saturday during the second half of the hour of 6:30 p.m. that day (he said both he and one of the weather reporters for their local news operation (Chris Dunn) were set to host such programming).*

 (*the same news presenter had previously said their companion station (WJTC-TV) was the station set to have such programming while part of a previous edition of the morning news program earlier in the calendar week)
