- The live video stream for WKRG-TV was used to stream a football game involving a football team for a high school located in their local broadcast area (McGill-Toolen Catholic High School in the city of Mobile in southwest Alabama) this past Wednesday on the thirtieth day of this past November.
- According to Zap2it and TitanTV, the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV was set to have a national news program that was usually set to be part of its programming during the second half of the hour of 4:00 a.m. on a daily basis from Monday through Friday in recent times ("The CBS Morning News" from the Columbia Broadcasting System (CBS)) be part of its programming during the first half on the same basis by next Monday on the fifth day of this December due to their plan to having local news programming on the feed during that time period on the same basis by the same day.
- Some of the local news programs for WKRG-TV since this past Monday on the twenty-eighth day of this November had reports about certain members of their broadcast operation (including Randy Patrick Setterstrom (sports reporter), Allen Carter (news reporter), Peter Albrecht (news presenter and news reporter), Alan Sealls (weather reporter), Mark Bunting (vice president and general manager), Rose Ann Haven (news presenter), Joseph Blake (J. B.) Biunno (news reporter), Debbie Williams (news reporter), and Pat Peterson (news reporter)), participating in a special effort of theirs to donate toys to residents of their local broadcast area who may be considered less fortunate ("The Great Toy Drive").
