• Some videos of moments described as "bloopers" involving the hosts of a local TV program dedicated to entertainment and lifestyles (Joe Emer and Chasity Byrd of "Studio 10" for WALA-TV) were presented on the editions of the program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV this Friday and this past Thursday (on the twenty-ninth day of this December).  

• According to the official World Wide Web site for WEAR-TV and the guides to their main broadcast channel from Zap2it and TitanTV, the channel was set to have special programming about a celebration of the coming of the next calendar year (2017) expected to occur in the city of Pensacola in the state of Florida ("The Pensacola Pelican Drop") take precedence over special network programming about other celebrations of the coming of the next calendar year expected to come from their main provider of network programming ("New Year's Rockin' Eve" from the American Broadcasting Company (ABC)) around the time the next calendar year begins (the beginning of the hour of 12:00 a.m. between the end of this Saturday on the thirty-first day of this December and the beginning of this Sunday on the first day of next January).*

• The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the second half of the hour of 4:00 a.m. and the hours of 5:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. this past Wednesday on the twenty-eighth day of this December ("WKRG News 5 This Morning") had sound effects described by some of its news presenters in recent times as those of a foghorn and angels singing used simultaneously in a report about traffic conditions on the Jubilee Parkway bridge (it was usually called "the Bayway" on the program) over Mobile Bay in southwest Alabama (it was called a "Bayway Report") before having one in which only the sound described as that of a foghorn was used (the news presenter for this edition of the program (Chad Petri) said this when both of the sound effects were used: "All right, mostly good, a little bad"; as for what he said when only the foghorn was used for the other report, "That's right, fog horn appropriate").**
