- Some videos of three persons auditioning for a position in promoting the broadcast operation of WFNA-TV were uploaded onto the World Wide Web as part of a contest to win the position.
- According to the guide to the main broadcast channel for WJTC-TV from a
World Wide Web site specialized in TV programming guides named Zap2it,
the channel was set to have special programs related to Christmas in place of
programs that were usually part of its programming from Monday through
Friday in recent times between this Monday and this Friday (on the twenty-third day of this December).
- The main broadcast channel for WALA-TV had a local news program that was usually part of its programming on Sunday mornings in recent times end about 30 minutes earlier than usual before having a program dedicated to discussing public affairs for the rest of the time period when it usually had the news program this past Sunday on the eighteenth day of this December (the name of the program dedicated to public affairs was "Speak Up!";
the name of the news program was "FOX 10 News in the Morning"; as
for when the news program was usually part of its programming on Sunday, it was usually during the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m., specifically during both halves of those hours).
