- The local news program that usually appeared on the main broadcast
channel for WPMI-TV during the first half of the hour of 12:00 p.m. from
Monday through Friday in recent times ("Local 15 News at Noon") was
still part of its programming during the second half of that hour this past Monday on the twenty-sixth day of this December (a local TV program of theirs dedicated to entertainment and lifestyles was usually set to appear on the channel during that time period from Monday through Friday since this past September (it was usually called "Gulf Coast Today").
- According to WPMI-TV, the reason for the local entertainment and lifestyle program mentioned in the first paragraph of this report not appearing on their main broadcast channel during the second half of the hour of 12:00 p.m. this past Monday (in addition to the main broadcast channel for WJTC-TV during the second half of the hour of 5:00 p.m. that day) in a was due to the program being put on hiatus for this calendar week and the next calendar week (according to the guides to the main broadcast channel for WJTC-TV from Zap2it and TV Guide, various syndicated programs were set to take the place of the local entertainment and lifestyle program over the next two calendar weeks between Monday and Friday (their names were "Mountain Bike Mania" (set for this past Monday through this Thursday), "Rise of Terrorism: Holy War" (set for next Monday on the second day of next January), "The Blackberry Farm Pro-Am Classic" (set for next Tuesday on the third day of next January), "Corrupt Crimes" (set for next Wednesday on the fourth day of next January), and "Divorce Court" (set for next Thursday and Friday on the fifth and sixth days of next January respectively)).
(*WJTC-TV and WPMI-TV were members of the same company (the
Sinclair Broadcast Group))
