- Earlier this Monday, the main
broadcast channel for WKRG-TV did not have a new edition of a national
news program that was usually part of its programming during the second half of the hour of 4:00 a.m. from Monday through Friday in recent times ("The CBS Morning News" from the Columbia Broadcasting
System (CBS)*) during the first half of that hour in
accordance with the guides to its programming from Zap2it and TitanTV (the channel still had the program that usually preceded it on the channel in recent times: "The CBS Overnight News" (it was from CBS also)).
- The main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV had a "preview" of reports
planned for the edition of the local news program that was part of its programming
between the beginning of the second half of the hour of 4:00 a.m. and the beginning
of the hour of 7:00 a.m. ("WKRG News 5 This Morning") in place of the last segment of the national
news program that preceded it this Monday ("The CBS Overnight News").
- Only one of the news presenters for the local news program mentioned in the previous paragraph was part of the segments of it broadcast during the second half of the hour of 4:00 a.m. this Monday (the name of the news presenter who appeared in those segments was Bill Riales; as for the name of the one who did not appear in those segments, it was Jessica Taloney (she appeared in other segments of its edition for this Monday, though)).
(*CBS was the main provider of network programming for WKRG-TV)
