News for Monday, December 12th, 2016
- WDLT-FM and WBLX-FM had abrupt endings to their broadcasts of a local radio program dedicated to news and public affairs this past Sunday
on the eleventh day of this December (the name of the program was "In
Touch Gulf Coast"; as for how the broadcasts ended, both of them ended in silence that lasted several minutes).
- The main broadcast channel for WPMI-TV was originally set to have local news programming immediately before having any special programming about a parade of boats during the hour of 6:00 p.m. this past Saturday on the tenth day of this December until a change in the start time for the parade caused them to have the special programming immediately before having any local news programming during that hour.
- The main broadcast channel for WPMI-TV had a paid commercial
program (or "infomercial") instead of a local news program during the first half of the hour of 5:00 p.m. this past Saturday due to the programming plan mentioned in the paragraph above this one.
