(amendment note: the numbers in the second paragraph below this message were explained)
- Another digital sub-channel was added to the Alabama Public Television station licensed to serve the city of Mobile in southwest Alabama (41-4 (radio frequency channel number)/42-4 (virtual channel number) for WEIQ-TV) earlier this calendar week (it had the same programming feed as one of the digital sub-channels it usually had before then (41-2/42-2)); the one that usually had programming for a national TV programming service named WORLD.
- Folks in the local broadcast area of the station mentioned in the previous paragraph may or may not had noticed a new name for one of the other digital sub-channels for the station mentioned in the previous paragraph if they were receiving its programming from antennas and the TV sets connected to them were capable of displaying information about the channel by this Saturday (it usually had the name "WORLD" before this calendar week; as for its new name, it was "PBSKIDS").
