News for Wednesday, December 7th, 2016
- The last segment of the local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel for WPMI-TV during the hours of 5:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. this Wednesday ("Local 15 Today") ended while its weather reporter (Kelly Foster) was presenting a weather report.
- One of the hosts for a local TV program dedicated to entertainment and lifestyles (Joe Emer of "Studio 10")
sounded amazed by some animated graphics for a weather report presented
by its other host (Chasity Byrd) in the last segment of its broadcast through the main broadcast channel for WALA-TV this
past Monday on the fifth day of this December (this is what he said the first time the graphics appeared
during the segment: "Whoa! Look at that intro"; this is what he said
after asking the other host to make them appear again: "Yes! What is
that? Circle--metal circles?").
- One of the news presenters for the local news operation at WALA-TV (Bob Grip) used part of the local news program that appeared on their main broadcast channel during the first half of the hour of 10:00 p.m. this past Monday ("FOX 10 News at 10:00 p.m.") to say that he had always loved reading and that he shared his love for it by reading to students at an elementary school in the city of Daphne in southwest Alabama earlier that day (he said the name of the school was Daphne East Elementary School; as for what he said he was reading to the students, he said he read two books named "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" and "Thomas' Christmas Delivery" one group of students and a book named "C. C. Claus" to another group of students).
