News for Sunday, Decembr 18th, 2016
- A recent edition of a local radio program dedicated to news and public affairs ("In Touch Gulf Coast") that was not broadcast in its entirety by at least two local radio stations last Sunday on the eleventh day of this December (WDLT-FM and WBLX-FM) was rebroadcast by the same stations with the parts that were not part of those broadcasts (including some information that was all ready out of date by then (it was about a plan to hold a Christmas parade in the city of Mobile last Saturday on the tenth day of this December)).
- The news presenters for the local news program that appeared on the
main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV between the second half of the hour
of 4:00 a.m. and the beginning of the hour of 7:00 a.m. this past Friday (Bill Riales and Jessica Taloney of "WKRG News 5 This Morning") used
the last segment of its broadcast to acknowledge an associate producer for their local
news operation (Olivia Stump) for having graduated the University
of Mobile in the city of Mobile recently (some images of the producer were shown during the acknowledgement).
- The local news program that appeared on the main broadcast channel
for WALA-TV during the hour of 9:00 p.m. and the one that appeared on
the main broadcast channel for WKRG-TV during the first half of the hour
of 10:00 p.m. this past Friday on the sixteenth day of this December ("FOX 10 News at 9:00 p.m." and "WKRG News 5 at 10")
each had a report with a member of their local news operation (Lenise Ligon for WALA-TV; Joseph Blake ("J. B.") Buinno for WKRG-TV) presenting reviews about a video game for computerized telephones ("smartphones") and
tablet computers named "Super Mario Run" (some of the reviews presented by the one named Joseph Blake Buinno were from other members of the local news operation for WKRG-TV).
