• The sports reporter for the local news operation at WKRG-TV (Randy Patrick Setterstrom) said he was in his fourth year of being a voter for an awards program dedicated to honoring certain collegiate football players while discussing it on the local news program that appeared on their main broadcast channel during the second half of the hour of 6:00 p.m. ("WKRG News 5 at 6:30") this past Monday on the twelfth day of this December after its news presenter (Peter Albrecht) mentioned it to him as part of the discussion.

• Some of the news presenters for the local news operation at WALA-TV and WPMI-TV used some of their local news programming to talk about their respective news operations having plans to broadcast special programming about a rally for a recent candidate for the presidency of the United States (Donald Trump) expected to happen in the city of Mobile in southwest Alabama this Saturday on the seventeenth day of this December. 

• Some of the weather reporters for the local news operation at WALA-TV (Matt Barrentine and Jason Smith) mentioned the plan mentioned in the previous paragraph in some of their broadcasts since this past Monday while talking about weather predictions for the day that plan was set to become effective.

• One of the news reporters for the local news operation at WKRG-TV (Pat Peterson) referred to a person as "dumb" at the beginning of a news report that was part of their local news program for the second half of the hour of 6:00 p.m. this past Monday.
