- This past Thursday's edition of WKRG-TV's local 10:00 p.m. news program ("WKRG News 5 at 10") had a report about various news gatherers for broadcasting companies outside the broadcast area of WKRG-TV talking about the news of the helicopter that had crashed in the waters of Santa Rosa Sound near Florida within the broadcast area of WKRG-TV this past Tuesday, March 10th.
- The weather reporter for WKRG-TV whose tone of voice was lower than usual on this past Wednesday's edition of their local morning news program on March 11th was able to use his regular tone of voice on today's edition of the program (the name of the weather reporter was John Nodar; the name of the news program was "WKRG News 5 This Morning").

The aforementioned weather reporter was replaced by another weather reporter for WKRG-TV for this Thursday's edition of the program along with that day's edition of their local midday news program (the name of the other weather reporter was Alan Sealls; the name of the midday news program was "WKRG News 5 at Noon").
