- On Monday, March 16th, a message attributed to one of the hosts for a local radio program normally broadcast by WAVH-FM (106.5) was posted onto the wall of the official Facebook page for WKRG-TV concerning a report WKRG-TV had on their local 10:00 p.m. news program ("WKRG News 5 at 10") that day (the name of the host was Mike Bailey; the name of the radio program was "Sip and Chew with Mike and Stu").
- A local public affairs host for WALA-TV and WGOK-AM (900)/WXQW-AM (660) appeared on today's edition of WALA-TV's local entertainment and lifestyle program for Monday through Friday ("Studio 10") to promote plans for a festival and exhibition of African culture expected to take place in Mobile this Friday, March 20th, and this Saturday, March 21st (the name of the host was Robert Battles; as for the programs he usually hosted, they were "Rise and Shine" for WALA-TV and "Pass It On" for WGOK-AM/WXQW-AM).
