News for Tuesday, March 10th, 2015
- The previous report on this weblog was amended to include the name of the local public affairs program that was removed from WFNA-TV's regular programming plans recently ("Speak Up").
- Today's editions of WALA-TV's local 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. news programs ("FOX 10 News at 4:00 p.m." and "FOX 10 News at 5:00 p.m.") had a scrolling news ticker that usually only appeared on their local morning news program ("FOX 10 News in the Morning") before today.
- WKRG-TV and certain other TV stations affiliated with the national TV programming service Memorable Entertainment Television (also known as Me-TV) were set to receive episodes of two comedic TV programs titled "The Donna Reed Show" and "That Girl" through their programming feeds for the the service between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. from Monday through Friday instead of two episodes of a comedic TV program titled "The Andy Griffith Show" like other TV stations affiliated with the service due to their respective TV markets having contracts for broadcasting episodes of "The Andy Griffith Show" locally (WKRG-TV has such a contract for Mobile's TV market).
