- According to the official Facebook page for the advertising agency Joseph Brown and Associates in Daphne, Alabama, the segment for this past Wednesday's edition of WALA-TV's local entertainment and lifestyle program ("Studio 10") with the radio host for WNTM-AM (710) was recorded last Friday, March 13th.
- The Cable and Satellite Public Affairs Network (C-SPAN) had a telephonic
call from a person said to be from Mobile on their morning
news and discussion program ("Washington Journal") this past Tuesday, March 18th
(you may hear the call by setting the video player for the edition of
"Washington Journal" broadcast that day to 11:19 on the official World Wide Web site for C-SPAN)
- The local TV programming guides from Zap2it, Comcast, and TV Guide for the Monday of March 30th had the words "Paid Programming" in the time period to be used for a new local news program expected to begin that day as part of WKRG-TV's regular programming plans for Monday through Friday while the guide from TitanTV had the words "Paid Program" instead of the name to be used for that program (the time period for this news program would be between 9:00 a.m. and 9:30 a.m.).
