News for Sunday, March 8th, 2015
- The first and second interruptions each involved a series of commercial
and promotional advertisements; the third one involved a paid commercial program (or "infomercial") that usually would have been
broadcast for nearly 30 minutes, but was broadcast for nearly two
minutes instead this time.
- Between 11:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. today, WFNA-TV's main broadcast channel (radio frequency channel 25-1/virtual channel 55-1) had a paid commercial program instead of the local public affairs program it usually had between those times on Sunday (the program was produced by WFNA-TV's former companion station WALA-TV under the name "Speak Up" and usually broadcast by both of them on a weekly basis).
