- One of the hosts for WALA-TV's local entertainment and lifestyle program ("Studio 10") mentioned a former colleague of hers on today's edition of the program without referring to him by one of his former positions at WALA-TV (he was one of their weather reporters before retiring) or as a former employee of WALA-TV while sharing a story about him (the name of the host was Chasity Byrd; the name of the former employee was John Edd Thompson; as for what she was talking about, she was talking about a time in which he dressed in green for Halloween in order to make his self appear invisible on a TV monitor while situated between a TV camera and a chroma key screen, or green screen).
