- WKRG-TV had a report about a member of their local news operation (a reporter named Allen Carter) giving another member of the
operation (a news presenter Mel Showers) a tour of Mobile in their local news programming
this Friday (it was part of a special series of reports for their local programming in general this calendar week).
- One of the other members for the local news
operation at WKRG-TV (a news presenter and news reporter named Devon Walsh) usually had a dramatic inflection in her voice while presenting news about a former member of the news department for their main provider of network programming (Morley Safer of the Columbia Broadcasting System (CBS)) in their local news programming this past Thursday on the nineteenth day of this May.
- Two of the other news presenters for the local news operation at WKRG-TV (Bill Riales and Jessica Taloney) had used part of their local news program for the hours of 5:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. ("WKRG News 5 This Morning") to make reference to the manager of their broadcast operation (Mark Bunting) visiting a promotional event for their main provider of network programming called an "upfront" (or the "CBS Upfront" to be precise) in the city of New York in the state of New York this past Thursday (the one named Jessica Taloney said the manager was "hobnobbing" while talking about his attending the event).*
(*some messages and images attributed to the manager
about the trip to the "upfront" were posted onto a
Facebook page about him)
